Emerald Princess-At Sea
85F; cloudy, a squall, rolling seas most of the day--not bad
Today was certainly an ordinary day, but the Promenade Deck was closed because there are still rough seas--no where near what it was the other night.
We had lunch again on Wednesday with Jeff and Doris, our Erie friends.
Tomorrow we have a couple things planned, like the crew talent show and the screening of the video taken of our ship going through the canal.
We will be packing up -- luggage must be outside our doors tomorrow night. I will be back if anything exciting happens!!
Next cruise: January 19, 2020!
When Donna and I went to the crew show, it turned out to be a welcome with a couple crew members, a cooking show, and a tour of the Emerald's galley. The cooking show was very humorous with interplay between the Maitre d'Hotel and the Chef de Cuisine. There are about 250 workers in the galley and about 280 workers in the dining areas. The chef prepared a shrimp cocktail, grilled lamb chops, and a dessert called pavlova, a New Zealand dessert with meringue and fresh fruit.
