NORTH ATLANTIC CROSSING--NO LAND IN SIGHT!

Sunday, August 30, 2026
At Sea—North Atlantic Ocean
61F, cloudy

We definitely are rested up! The days at sea are very tranquil, except for the bit of stormy weather and the fog for several days—the sound of the foghorn is very surreal and makes me uneasy.

Because it has been so cool, passengers are inside the ship, and seating is a bit limited.  The pool deck, and even the covered pool deck, are mostly empty. Except for a few children. Cold doesn’t bother them!

We do not cruise for the food. I know I have said many times that “haute cuisine” is not my style. We both lose weight on cruises.

TK wants to play his game again, “Guess what food/drink this is---please do play with us!

Guess what drink this is!

Some pics along the way-----

Master towel animals!
Love the little birdies!

Specialty dining at Makoto
Some choices are:
miso soup, sushi, tai, sunomono,
toro takuan hand roll, seared bluefin
tuna belly, unagi, mochi ice cream
We never developed a taste for
any of these

A shop along the way

Deck 14-main pool

Photos were taken with my phone camera--and I had to send them to my email. Because of sketchy internet, not all of the photos arrived--more tomorrow!  And, we will see land tomorrow! Sydney, Canada!

TK's Takes: Started packing. Sun came out for the first time in days. Liverpool was the last nice day we  had.  People seemed a little more upbeat today with the sun making an appearance. He is feeling better.
