This is the "Mediterranean Part 6" because this is our 4th Mediterranean/TransAtlantic Cruise together. I visited France and Italy with friends Judy and Cindy in 2008, and lived in France for a year, 1967-1968. TK cruised the Mediterranean in the U.S. Navy for four years on the guided missile cruiser, U.S.S. Columbus, from 1968-1972. I can't seem to pull myself away from Europe!
That said, let's look at the itinerary!
November 12: Barcelona Spain
November 13: Toulon, France--off we go to Aix-en-Provence again!
November 14: Genoa, Italy
November 15: Livorno (for Florence), Italy
November 16, 17: At Sea
November 18: Kotor, Montenegro
November 19: Corfu, Greece
November 20: At Sea
November 21: Sicily, Italy
Novemter 22: Naples, Italy
November 23: Rome, Italy --Thanksgiving!!
November 24: Florence, Italy
November 25: Corsica, France
November 26: At Sea
November 27: Gibraltar
November 28: At Sea
November 29: Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain
November 30: Madeira, Portugal--Brian's Birthday!
December 1-December 7: At Sea--crossing the Atlantic Ocean
December 8: Arrive in Fort Lauderdale and fly back to Erie!
