Of course it was an easy drive to the hotel for tonight.  With stops at Grove City and Ross Park Mall, we arrived at our Friday destination with few purchases.  Dinner at Primanti Brothers.  Donna from Wisconsin, where were you?? Kept thinking of the year you met us here when your Pittsburgh nephew was getting married.

We are beyond excited for this cruise, the longest yet, with so many great ports to viist, including many we have never visited.  

Why am I so tired? Thankfully, our flight doesn't leave till about 1 p.m., so we will have plenty of time in the morning to get ready--I have already repacked the luggage.

TK's Takes:  While driving, he spotted a beautiful bald eagle in flight quite near us---sending us on our way. Luckily I saw it too. No photos.

GROVE CITY, MOON TOWNSHIP, AND FRIEND DONNA!

Packed and ready to go, we left Erie about 9 a.m. and headed for...Grove City Outlet Mall. And why not?  I  ran into Chico's and got some good buys that I can use on this cruise and our November Mediterranean cruise. Then off we drove to the Pittsburgh airport to pick up friend Donna. 

You read that right--our dear cruise friend Donna from Wisconsin was flying into Pittsburgh for her nephew's wedding, the famous photographer, Matt Dieterich*!  We were so pleased that her jaunt into Pennsylvania coincided with our jaunt out of Pennsylvania.  We scooped her up at noon and headed to the Moon Township Primanti Brothers restaurant for lunch.  After three hours of catching up and sharing lots of laughs, her brother arrived from Pittsburgh to take her there.

We miss Lawrence, who stayed home for this trip.

After Donna left we went to the Robinson Center Mall to walk around a bit. We will be up early tomorrow morning to catch our 7:30 a.m. flight to NYC.  We are staying at the Airport Courtyard by Marriott and driving tomorrow to park our car at Globe Parking--we were more comfortable leaving the car there.
